Uniform Ordering Guidelines
- Full-time employees may order a maximum of ten (10) shirts/sweatshirts (any combination), 6 (six) pairs of pants, one (1) nylon or fleece vest, and one (1) jacket.
- Uniforms with the City logo are non-returnable and non-exchangeable – please choose your sizes & styles carefully.
- Uniform exchanges are on a 1 to 1 basis only. For any items that are to be exchanged, your old uniform item(s) must be surrendered to your supervisor or designee.
- Part-time/Seasonal employees: Three (3) shirts are provided at time of employment. No jackets are issued.
- All employees covered under the AFSCME agreement, as well as associated project, part-time and seasonal help, also receive one (1) knit hat and one (1) cap at time of employment. Replacement will be as needed as determined by the employee’s supervisor on an exchange basis only.
- Safety/reflective gear is provided on an as needed basis at manager/supervisor discretion. Items are available to order via uniform portal.
- Fire Resistant clothing is provided on an as needed basis at manager/supervisor discretion. Items are not available to order through uniform portal, contact Purchasing to obtain a quote.
- All clothing remains the property of the City of Redmond and is to be returned upon termination of employment.
